Eleanor Carroll – Operations & Lettings Director

Founder member and director of The Online Letting Agents. Eleanor is responsible for ensuring the highest levels of service are maintained for both landlords and tenants.

Eleanor started her career in the property industry with renovations in the early noughties, then moved on to building houses, retaining some herself to build a rental portfolio. It was at this point she realised there was a need for a better alternative to traditional letting agents, and The Online Letting Agents was born.

Simon Fice – Technical & Finance Director

Founder member and director of The Online Letting Agents. With a responsibility for all things IT, Simon ensures that our website is up to date and simple to use. Simon sits on the board of a number of technology-based businesses.

Simon is a self-confessed workaholic. When he’s not working on the business, he’s busy at home with whatever is the next refurb project.

Top Tip – Think of your property advert as your “shop window”. Consider who your target tenants are, and make sure it appeals to them with bright high resolution images and a clear concise description.

Sarah Dove – Senior Lettings Manager

Sarah looks after all aspects of the move-in process for our managed properties, working efficiently to make sure that properties are let quickly, and that the process from offer to move-in are completed without a hitch. She ensures the team work to the highest standards at all times.

Sarah loves taking her Sprocker for long country walks and enjoys meals out with a good glass of wine.

Top Tip – Always reference check your new tenant! Referencing is the best way to make sure your new tenant is able to pay the rent and their history of paying rent in the past.

Alex Humphreys – Property Manager

Alex is an experienced property manager and works efficiently to ensure that all elements of our property management run smoothly. Always diligent in her approach, she can find a solution to any problem to guarantee issues are resolved promptly and with least disruption.

Alex is an animal lover, with some of her more unusual pets being a Puffer fish named Spot, and Pandora the Tarantula.

Top Tip – As a landlord, you need to be willing and responsive when it comes to repairs. If issues are handled promptly, it can only improve your relationship with your tenants. This will also ensure the problem doesn’t escalate into something worse.

Donna Edwards – Property Manager

Charlie is the newest member of the team, and has a passion for providing exceptional customer service which shines through in his work on the property management team.

In his spare time, Charlie enjoys running, and spending time outdoors with his partner and their dog.

Top Tip – Make sure you regularly check the condition of your property. Tenants might not want to bother you with little problems, but those little problems can mount up and become a big problem if left until the end of the tenancy.  Regular checks not only let you know about the condition of your property but can enable you to conduct preventive maintenance if required.

Magda Kawalek – Lettings Manager

Magda has been a valued member of our team for many years. She takes care of all elements of our unmanaged service. She has a wealth of experience in the lettings sector, is extremely customer focussed and is dedicated to providing a high level of care to both her landlords and tenants.

When she isn’t spending time with her niece and nephews, Magda like to relax with a good book or take time out at her family’s lake in the country.

Top Tip – Get everything in writing, starting with a really good tenancy agreement. If you have had a conversation with the tenants to verbally agree something after the contract has been signed, always follow this up clearly in writing for the tenants to agree and confirm.

Fiona Fice – Accounts

Fiona has worked in accounting for many years and takes care of all our accounts, including ensuring deposits are safely protected.

As a mum to two young boys, Fiona doesn’t have any spare time, but if she did, she’d enjoy spending it with friends, sharing a glass of wine with a good meal.
