The living quarters are open plan and very functional but also a great space to relax in, with some wonderful views directly out to sea – especially from the breakfast bar.
The kitchen has a fridge freezer, electric oven and hob, combination microwave, build in dishwasher and washer/dryer. A dining table and 2 x 2 seater sofa’s are included.
The main bedroom has a very comfortable king sized 4-poster bed as well as a sofa and large wardrobe. If you enjoy a morning cuppa in bed you will most certainly enjoy this one, sipping your morning brew looking out over the spectacular view of sea and sky.
A second smaller bedroom contains a single bed and built in single wardrobe. There is also an en-suite but most importantly, a lovely window seat with inspiring and everchanging vista’s, a perfect place for the reader, the writer or the daydreamer.
Should you decide to leave the apartment (although, understandable you may not!) the *tidal pool is just 5mins walk away and is not only restorative but the best place to be and watch the sun go down whilst taking a dip.
The apartment is within walking distance to the Margate old town, but is far enough away to ensure peace and quiet, located close to wide open spaces and wonderful sandy beaches. Broadstairs is also within easy reach, by bus, car or cycle – or for those who like to earn their Morelli’s gelato, an hours walk.
The ensuite has toilet, electric shower and sink and the main bathroom has over bath shower, toilet and sink.
The hallway has lots of cupboard space for coats and shoes and it also has a large bookcase.
The building has history as a glorious art deco hotel, although faded, there are still highlights from its golden years, including the wood inlay lobby area. Two lifts make accessing the 3rd floor very easy and there is always ample on and off road parking. Both the building and apartment are all up to date with current fire and safety regulations.
Additionally, small well behaved pets will be considered.
