Updated Notices for the Renters’ Rights Act

The government have published new notices for use on and after 1st May.

From 1st May 2026, the Renters’ Right Act 2025 will abolish assured shorthold tenancies and end section 21 ‘no fault’ evictions in the private rented sector in England. These new forms have been introduced as part of those changes.

These have been published so that landlords can see what information will be needed on and after 1 May 2026.

The versions published for this purpose are watermarked. You must not complete or send these forms to your tenant. They are for your infomation only.

Up to and including 30th April 2026, you should use the current version of the forms.
